About Me

How are you guys? I know it's been a while, but I've changed the blog a bit, and so, I thought I might re-introduce myself to you, and you to it!

So, "hi!" I'm Aisley. I'm a rape crisis counsellor, living near Toronto, Ontario. I write fiction, read fiction and review fiction over at Aisley Reads (so check that out. And on facebook!)

My favourite book is Margaret Atwood's The Edible Woman. She actually replied to my tweet about it once! Yes, I know! Margaret Atwood tweeted me! ... I couldn't believe it either, I was speechless for three days!!!) Currently, I work with kids and I really enjoy it, almost more than my bookstore days... Okay, more than my bookstore days, but I really, really miss the discount, okay? Haha.


And, the blog! I've had this blog for quite some time now, but I haven't been so great with posting in it lately (mainly because I don't have a lot to say while I'm writing.) So, back in December, I announced a re-launch and voila!

I have only been submitting my short fiction to literary journals for the past few months, so there if you're looking for something of mine to read, you can check my publications here. Otherwise, I don't have much else to say. Happy writing friends!
